Barker Pacific Group Affiliate Storage Solutions Acquires Extra Space in Mesa, AZ

In December, BPG acquired Extra Space Pecos located in Mesa, AZ. The property, a newly built, climate-controlled, Class A property, has 615 units and 33 RV parking spaces totaling 78,100 net rentable square feet of space. While technically located in Mesa, the property abuts the Queen Creek area which has one of the highest amounts of residential and retail developments within the Phoenix MSA. The partnership is confident the property is well-positioned to take advantage of the market's increasing population and residential/retail developments to achieve both physical and economic occupancy stabilization and result in a respectable ROI.

This acquisition represents the 13th transaction between BPG and Artemis, and 5th property in the Phoenix market.
