Biometrics security software company to expand in Novato

Nearly 10,000-square-foot lease brings Hamilton Landings' renovated hangars to full occupancy

NOVATO, Oct. 19, 2007 – Novato-based software developer Dragnet Solutions plans to relocate later this month to nearly 10,000 square feet in the last remaining office space of the renovated hangars at Hamilton Landing business park.

Dragnet creates software that uses biometrics for bank and retail security systems. The company moved from Burlingame to 2,500 square feet at 68 Leveroni Court in Novato early last year.

Dragnet joins a growing list of biomedical and software companies at Barker Pacific Group's Hamilton Landing redevelopment. Those high-tech tenants include Take Two Interactive, Sony Imageworks, ClairMail, Nihilistic Software and a rumored lease of more than 100,000 square feet to a Disney-affiliated software company.

So far, Barker Pacific has renovated 268,000 square feet of a 465,000-square-foot planned development.
