John Ghiselli has joined Barker Pacific Group

As Vice President of Acquisitions Ghiselli will lead Barker Pacific Group's Efforts to Acquire Properties throughout the Western United States

As Executive Vice President of Sterling Management Advisors Ghiselli will expand the company's strategic asset management services business

LOS ANGELES, CA - December 1, 2008 - John W. Ghiselli has joined Barker Pacific Group (BPG) as principal to acquire commercial real estate properties. With 20 years of transactional experience John's track record for sourcing and closing property acquisitions will add to BPG's already strong acquisitions team. John will also manage and expand Sterling Management Advisor's strategic asset management services. John will bring a high level of skill and expertise in creating value for property owners that are faced with significant leasing and tenant retention challenges in the current economic environment.

Prior to joining BPG, Ghiselli formed Wilshire Property Company which acquired office, industrial and retail properties in California and Arizona. Prior to that, Ghiselli was at Lincoln Property Company Commercial where he served as Executive Vice President. While at Lincoln, Ghiselli successfully acquired multiple properties throughout Southern California including a trophy office building in Beverly Hills, a 22 story office building in downtown Los Angeles and multiple other office, retail and industrial properties throughout Southern California.

Ghiselli graduated from the University of Texas where he received his B.A. and MBA in Finance and Real Estate.
