Dana A. Ostenson Joins Barker Pacific Group as Principal

Plans To Raise $300 Million to Acquire Commercial Real Estate Notes and Property

LOS ANGELES, CA – December 2, 2008 – Dana A. Ostenson has joined Barker Pacific Group (BPG) as principal to raise $300 million of new equity to augment BPG’s already strong capital relationships. The new capital will be used to acquire distressed and value added commercial real estate notes and properties.

Prior to joining BPG, Ostenson served as the Managing Director—Group head for Johnson Capital Investment Banking (JCIB). Ostenson’s clients have included a broad range of entities from public companies to entrepreneurial developers and investors. Prior to JCIB Ostenson was Senior Vice President at Pivotal Group and Solis Property Company, a distressed real estate investment company.

Ostenson graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School, J.D., as well as receiving a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Political Science from Lawrence University.
